The next Cambridge Memorial Library book discussion is Monday, February 15, 2010, 7 p.m. The book will be The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks. More details in the flyer picture.
My mother was Norma L King of Cambridge, of the "King family" during the 20's I am her daughter, and the gr. daughter of A. King and I am seeking info. about the family background during that time. Thanks
We do have an Alfred Presley King listed in our obituaries file. Would that be your grandfather?
It's not clear to me how to contact you to follow-up. Please email us at cha@huxcomm.net or phone our answering machine at 515-220-4478 or let us know in the comments.

The initial printing of the sesquicentennial book, Cambridge, Iowa - The First 150 Years, published in 2006 is no longer available. We now have a limited number of reprints for sale. An expanded Table of Contents is available online. We have just begun a name index for the book. Our progress can be followed here.
Our second book, Cambridge, Iowa - 150 Years of Education in Cambridge and Union Township, Story County, Iowa, was published in 2008. See the online expanded Table of Contents. It is still available for sale.
